A Long or Short Road

Well, the future is this body-less concept that is vague.

The future is any time that is to come that is not now. The future is both tomorrow and 1,000,000 years from now.

When people compare the beginning of their life to the end of their life, you can really see how much has changed. But the path you take from birth to death happens so gradually that, as you go along it, we aren’t fully aware of what is changing.

As we go from one year to another, only minor changes occur. I think it’s only once we have lived a long life that we can see the actual extent of the change.

I think that some people have better insight or at least better imagination than others in this regard though. Like George Orwell in his book 1984. He really paints a dystopic view of the future.

But for me, I don’t really feel one way or the other about the future. I don’t have a solid view of what it will look like.

So I refrain my judgment until it arrives.
